Main Objective 2

Alright Creators, now that you have created your concept and posted it for me to look at, it is time to set to work creating your game in Flowlab. Remember, you are able to upload images and sounds to Flowlab to create a custom setting all your own. With that being said, there are free sprites you can use already on the site.

To create your character sprite based off of your concept art, you can either work within Flowlab, or use Adobe Photoshop and then upload it to Flowlab. Make sure your file is small enough to fit comfortably in the box. If it is too big the first time, try try again! I would also recommend saving your character sprites and any other sprites as a JPG or PNG file.

Use Garageband to create your music and sound effects. You can also find royalty free music here at bensound.com. Admittedly, I don't know much about Garageband since I typically don't Apple software. However, I have posted some tutorials in the HELP tab!

The guidelines for your game are listed under the ACHIEVEMENTS tab. Please keep them in mind as you create your game.

Since this is the Objective where you are creating your game, plan to spend a good bulk of your time on this section. The nice thing about Flowlab is that you can access it from home since it is a website. So if you aren't able to get everything you wanted to get done finished in class, or if you are just that passionate about your project, you can continue your work at home.

With all of that being said, you may work on Objectives 2 and 3 at the same time because Objective 3 is about creating your 3D printed character, and it is difficult to print everything all in the same day.

And as always Creators feel free to contact me if you have any questions that can't be answered by either your teacher or the HELP tab or if you have any concerns about your project.
